Introduction

Admissions: Introduction

The Holmewood School, London welcomes local and international students with a wide range of learning differences. Many of our students have a statutory statement for SEN, which allows families to seek financial funding from their Local Authority. However, a statutory statement is not a requirement for admission. Applications can be supported by independent assessment reports relevant to the individual. Our school does not discriminate between different social, cultural, ethnic or religious backgrounds, but actively embraces and celebrates these differences.

The Holmewood School, London caters for children who are of average or above-average cognitive ability, aged between 7 and 18, with a diagnosis or co-morbid diagnosis of high functioning autism, Asperger's syndrome, ADHD, language, communication, social and pragmatic difficulties and specific learning difficulties.

Our focus is to provide experiences that parallel mainstream provision, with an additional focus on therapeutic programmes and a heavy emphasis on a social-skills and life-skills curriculum. Links with our sister school the North London International School provide opportunities for inclusive links and joint partnership working.
We invite all enquiries, and work together with every family to ensure that we are the right choice for your child.
