I first qualified in 1998 as an NNEB Nursery Nurse. After spending a number of years working in nurseries, I took the opportunity to work in a school for children with multiple and profound learning difficulties. It was here that my passion for working with children with additional needs began.
Most recently, I managed three local nurseries. I also worked as the child protection officer and the SEN coordinator, supporting children and families in the early process of getting a statement or acquiring extra support in the form of speech and language therapy or occupational therapy.
For the last two years I have been raising my young family. I’m now looking forward to a new journey at The Holmewood School.
